The Resurrection of the Shroud

The Resurrection of the Shroud - Mark Antonacci The topic of this book was very fascinating to me, but it was so technical and so far over my head that I really struggled to get through most of it. I finally ended up giving up on finishing it. That is rare for me. I can only recall one other book I did not finish and it was an audio book that had such severe scratches that it was impossible to complete.

Echoes of my Soul

Echoes of my Soul - Robert K. Tanenbaum I won a copy from the Goodreads First Reads Giveaway.

Plastic Gods: A Rich Coleman Novel (Rich Coleman Novels, 2)

Plastic Gods: A Rich Coleman Novel (Rich Coleman Novels, 2) - William Manchee I received a free copy of this book via the Goodreads First Reads giveaway.

Needful Things

Needful Things - Stephen King My favorite book by Stephen King =)

Legends of the Dragonrealm: Shade

Legends of the Dragonrealm: Shade - Richard A. Knaak I won a copy from the Goodreads First Reads giveaway. My son is very excited that I won this book. He loves Richard A. Knaak's books.

Try the Morgue: A Novel

Try the Morgue: A Novel - Eva Maria Staal I won a copy from the Goodreads First Reads giveaway.Fast-paced, thrilling story. I had a difficult time putting it down and finished it up rather quickly. It was exciting and interesting. It was a little confusing at the beginning until I figured out that the chapters were alternating past and present, but then it made plenty of sense and I think the format worked well to keep you on the edge of your seat.

No Apology: The Case for American Greatness

No Apology: The Case for American Greatness - Mitt Romney I thought this book was well written and full of information. Although it was a little too packed full of information, statistics and facts at times and became dry. There was a lot of history included and I thought Mr. Romney did a pretty good job of explaining his opinions and reasons for his stances on various issues. It was still a campaigning tool, but I thought it was quite clear that this man truly does care about America and our future.

No Way Back: A Novel

No Way Back - Andrew Gross I won this book from a Goodreads First Reads giveaway. This book caught my attention right from the start and just held on tightly! It was definitely a page turner full of suspense. I enjoyed it quite a lot. I've read books by Andrew Gross before, but only ones that he did jointly with James Patterson, so I had a good idea of what to expect and I was not disappointed. I will be reading more of his solo endeavors.

Pinocchio - John Boyne, Carlo Collodi I read the ebook version from the library. This story was so cute and so well written. It reminded me of my childhood when I'd watch the movie and listen to my little record of the soundtrack. It has such a good moral lesson too.

Black Irish: A Novel

Black Irish - Stephan Talty I won a copy from the Goodreads First Reads giveaway. The book was pretty good. I enjoyed the storyline and the pace. I would like to get to know Abbie better.

Mortal Danger (Ann Rule's Crime Files #13)

Mortal Danger and Other True Cases - Ann Rule So compelling. I couldn't put it down. There's just something about Ann Rule's true crime novels that just grip me and suck me right on it. They give me the creeps, and they are sad and disturbing, and yet I just can't get enough.

The Complete Knifepoint Horror

The Complete Knifepoint Horror - Soren Narnia I was offered a free ebook edition by the author because I entered a giveaway, but did not win.3/23/13- Beginning to read on Kindle app on my PC. It takes me awhile to read books this way.I can't finish this one. I do not like the writing style. Sorry =(

Memory in Death

Memory in Death - J.D. Robb Ebook. Another great read in this fun series. I'm definitely hooked on the adventures of Eve and Roarke and Peabody and McNab and Mavis and Leonardo and all the others. Looking forward to the next book.

Tiger Paw

Tiger Paw - Charles A Cornell Received a free ebook edition because I'd signed up for the Goodreads First Reads giveaway, but did not win.1/30/13 - Started reading with the Kindle app on my PC.Finally was able to really get into the book and it became very hard to put down. The only reason I had trouble getting into it was because of a 3 week vacation in Feb where I had no access to it and with it only able to read on my computer it made it difficult to read for long periods. It was action packed and exciting and very interesting. I did deduct 1 star because the constant use of complete full names kind of annoyed me. Also it was kind of predictable, but overall I definitely enjoyed it and would read additional books by this author.

The Light Fantastic

The Light Fantastic - Terry Pratchett Ebook. Very entertaining. I was actually laughing out loud at multiple parts. Definitely recommend for anyone who enjoyed The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series. I will read more of this series whenever I am in the mood for something funny and entertaining.

The Final Warning (Maximum Ride, Book 4)

Maximum Ride: The Final Warning - James Patterson Audiobook. I've enjoyed the series up until this book. It was boring, stupid and felt like an indoctrination for environmentalism. It will be a long time before I get around to any more of the series, if ever.
